About

Men of TASThe Men of TAS offers an opportunity to meet other TAS men, experience special activities together, hang out and have a good time. It also allows men to participate in the Jewish community along with understanding what the man’s role is in that environment and more importantly the role of a Jewish man within the context of the Jewish family.

We are made up of dedicated men of all ages and we welcome participation from all. We integrate our activities into the Temple community. Click here to learn more about What we Do and How we Do it.

Men of TAS March Madness 2014 Program
The Men of TAS are proud to announce their new 2014 March Madness basketball game fundraiser.  Similar to the popular football games, the Men of TAS are supporting special Temple programs and needs.  All of the “earnings” goes to assist these activities, which is above and beyond money available from normal TAS budget allowances.

The program is based on the three games which constitute the “Final Four,” the two semifinal games and then the championship game, played on April 5th and 7th.  Games are won for both the halftime and final scores of each game, making six winners in all.  As before, the winners are determined by the last digit of a team’s score (so 67 is a 7).  Many basketball pools use a “bracketology” method, in which players predict actual winners of the tournament games.  Unfortunately, this is impractical for us.

The buy-in is ridiculously inexpensive — $18 per square, and you can reserve up to 3 of them, and up to 3 more for your spouse.  Adults only please, no squares for children under 18. Click here for more details and the sign up form.
