
Cantor Patti Linsky found her spiritual and congregational community at Temple Ahavat Shalom in 1986. The partnership she has established with the multi-generational members, clergy and staff of our congregation has been to her an unending blessing. She received her Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Miami, and her Cantorial Certification from H.U.C.'s School of Sacred Music in New York. A member of the American Conference of Cantors, Cantor Linsky has served on its Executive Board, represented the Democratic National Committee and participated in the Seder for Darfur with Rabbi Harold Schulweiss, Forrest Whittaker, Debbie Friedman and Craig Taubman. Her work supporting our Reform movement both locally and nationally is widely respected. Cantor Linsky's passionate commitment to our congregation includes Synaplex, Adult Education, leading our choirs, tutoring b'nai mitzvah, pastoral counseling, life-cycle officiating and mentoring. A gifted performer, songwriter and recording artist, Cantor Linsky shares her incredible journey with her husband David Rubin and their children, Elias and Cayla.
