Each year our temple community has the great pleasure of honoring our own. Whether it is honoring an individual, couple or family, or toasting clergy or our founding members, every year the gala is unique, special and fun.
The GALA which will be held on June 24, 2012, this year honoring Gail Karlin and Robyn and Joe Blachman, is our temple’s largest fundraiser. Funds from the evening are used to support the wonderful programming for which Temple Ahavat Shalom is known.
The majority of the funds raised can be attributed to sales of ads that are placed in a beautiful keepsake journal printed for the evening. Additionally, the GALA may include other entertaining ways of collecting much needed dollars, such as a silent auction or boutique.
The TAS GALA Committee works hard to create an evening of enjoyment and financial success. Achieving our goals for the evening depends on each and every one of us. Look for our updates, join in on the planning, and don’t miss attending the celebration.
