This is a course for anyone interested in exploring Judaism-interfaith couples, those considering conversion and Jews looking for adult-level basics. Get an introduction to the fundamentals of Jewish thought and practice in 18 weeks. Topics include Jewish holidays and life cycle events, theology and prayer, Israel, history and Hebrew.

Rabbi Lutz will be the primary teacher. Tuition for the 18-week course is $180 for members of TAS, $250 for non-members. A non-refundable $50 registration fee is included. The tuition fee allows for either one or two people to attend, and we encourage couples to attend together. You will also have to purchase the required textbooks for the class (approx. $120) online or at your local bookstore. We recommend that you purchase the books before the class starts.
